5-16-25   THOUGHTS

The theme of  JOYFUL  PRAISE to our God is found everywhere in God’s word.  Recognizing God’s greatness, majesty and love seems to shame  my selfishness.  God  “is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men.”  The case in point is given as the crossing of the Red Sea by the children of Israel, It says “there let us rejoice”.  We need to continually ponder God’s goodness towards us.  Our response should come naturally.  HOW GREAT IS OUR GOD!  

Ps 66:1-7    Shout joyfully to God, all the earth;  2  Sing the glory of His name; Make His praise glorious. 3  Say to God, "How awesome are Your works! Because of the greatness of Your power Your enemies will give feigned obedience to You.  4  "All the earth will worship You, And will sing praises to You; They will sing praises to Your name." Selah.  5  Come and see the works of God, Who is awesome in His deeds toward the sons of men. 6  He turned the sea into dry land; They passed through the river on foot; There let us rejoice in Him!  7  He rules by His might forever; His eyes keep watch on the nations;  Let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah.

My Prayer:
Father, lift us up as we lift you up.  Help us to praise You as we should.  Let us worship You, O God, let us see Your works continually. May songs of praise rise up in our hearts and flow to our lips.  How awesome are Your works, O Father God.  In the name of Jesus,   Amen.
